Volunteering in the Trust
Volunteering is very important to the Trust, and we therefore value, support and encourage the efforts of individuals who freely give their time and energy to benefit the Trust. Volunteering can really benefit your self-esteem and confidence, while you make a valuable contribution to the quality of life of service users and their careers.
Volunteer placements of any length may be organised within the Trust.
For further information on volunteering please refer to the Work Experience and Volunteer Policy and Procedure. Please note, although we will try to meet your request, there will inevitably be occasions when this is not possible.
The minimum age for volunteers within the Trust is 18. The Trust welcomes applications for volunteering from across the community and there is no upper age limit, however the volunteer must be physically able to fulfil the duties of the volunteer post which will be subject to risk and Occupational Health assessments.
Volunteers will be expected to undertake pre-volunteer clearances including references and a check from the Criminal Records Bureau
