There
is a rapidly growing need for Electrical and
Electronics Engineers to design and apply
new generation of equipment and appliances.
Electrical and Electronics engineering branch
provides theoretical as well as practical
aspect of various subjects such as Electrical;
drives, Electronics devices, Networks, Power
systems, Power Engineering, Instrumentation,
Power Electronics, Control system etc. the
lab has latest instruments in these areas
to cater to the need of the age.
Electrical
& Electronics Engineering Department of
Institute is fully equipped with all modern
Laboratory facilities. It has trained and
technically sound Faculty Members who are
devoted to impart Quality Education. The Department
provides rigorous and strong foundation in
Theory to equip Students with skill necessary
to grasp and develop new Technologies and
Trends in respective domain and also to train
the competent Engineers to meet the challenging
demands in years to come.
The
Department has various Laboratories like Basic
Electrical Engineering, Measurement &
Instrumentation, Electrical Machines, Circuit
Theory and Network Control and Power Systems
for conducting Laboratory serious as per required
by Academic Programmes. The Laboratory consists
of latest equipments like Automatic Robotics
System, A. C. & D. C. Drives, PLC which
are to be used for carrying Project Work.
The Branch offers theoretical as well as practical
aspects of various Subjects much as Electrical
Drives, Networks, Power System, Power Engineering,
Instrumentation, Power Electronics, Control
System, Microprocessors and Electronic Devices.
During the Third Year of their Curriculum,
they undergo Vocational Training at various
Organisations like PTPS, NTPC, JINDAL, TATA
STEEL & TATA MOTORS which give them practical
exposure to the theoretical aspect.
Aim
of our programme is to develop the analytical
skill and flexibility required to adapt the
rapidly evolving technologies. The department
is equipped with various laboratories e.g.
Basic Electrical Engineering, Measurement
and Instrumentation, Machine, Network, Control
System and, Power System Laboratories to carry
out experiments as per AICTE syllabus.
