Annaul Sports “FROLIC 2011”, The Final Day At RVSCET
Today, 23rd December 2011 witnessed the closing of three days annual sports meet “FROLIC 2011”. The trophy for over all championship went to TORQUE House in a neck to neck competition with the other houses POWER, SILICON & LOGIC in all most all the events the TORQUE House found amplifying magnitude to come up with best sportsmanship.Earlier to it, different events like Badminton, Carrom, Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Chess, 100 mtr. Race for Boys & Girls, 400 mtr. Race for Boys & Girls, 100×4 Relay Race for Boys & Girls, were played by the different houses, and the overall championship trophy was given away on the basis of the points they earned.
During the closing moments of three day “FROLIC- 2011” Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, Additional Superintendent of police was present as a chief Guest alongwith the members of the managing committee, Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh, Director Prof.(Dr.) M. P. Singh & other distinguished guests were present. Large number of spectators consisting of the students staff & faculty members when the over all Championship Trophy was given away to the TORQUE HOUSE amidst the high voltage vibration in the winners camp.
There after the chief guest also distributed prizes to the winners and runners. The cricket match between Dean’s XI and Director’s XI was played, Dean’s XI won the match by 01 run in a tough combat for the championship. Consolation prizes were also given away to the participants.
