Annual Sports Frolic 2011 Begins At RVSCET

ANNUAL SPORTS “FROLIC 2011” BEGINS AT RVSCET

A three day annual sports meet FROLIC 2011 was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. J.C. Kanwar, Zonal Manager, Bank of India, Jamshedpur with the releasing of the balloons in the air and alighting the lamp of knowledge. He announced the three day meet open in the presence of over more then 500 participants, Apart from the guest of honour Mr. Vivek Sharma former National Badminton Player, presently coach, Tata Steel, Mr. B.K. Tiwary, Chief Manager, Bank of India, Sakchi, alongwith Mr. Niranjan Biswas. The Managing Committee of RVSCET, Jamshedpur consisting of the Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh, Member Mr. Shakti Singh and the Director, Prof. (Dr.) M. P. Singh were also present during the opening ceremony. The prestigious meet FROLIC ’11 began with the march past by the students of different Team as SILICON, TORQUE, POWER & LOGIC. Thereafter the students presented AEROBICS before a huge gathering of faculty members, Staff members, students & parents.

The Director (Prof.) Dr. M.P. Singh, while welcoming the guests gave a brief note to the students and the participants about “FROLIC 2011”. The chief guest while addressing to the participants stressed our the need of sports and sportsmanship in life. He also shared the different students oriented initiatives as an edge for the students. Guest of honour Mr. Vivek Sharma (Former National Badminton Player & Present Coach, TATA STEEL shared his own experience as a player highlighting the needs and relevance of sports dynamics.

Success is the fulfillment of your desire. It is getting what you want and achieving what you are after. In a nutshell success is the attainment of your cherished goal. An essential ingredient of success is positive thinking, it is your determination & will to succeed that matter most to crown your efforts with success. You can always win your way to victory. Sooner or later the man who wins is the man who thinks he can, hence by controlling, channelizing and organizing your thoughts you can fashion your objective. If you think you will win, you will certainly WIN – this is what sports teaches” you, said the secretary of the college Sri Bharat Singh in his short and brief speech.

Today, the different matches were being played by the different houses like Chess, Cricket, Computer Game, Football, Volleyball, Basketball & Carrom.
